The sweet spot is 28–34 weeks — you're beautifully round, still comfortable, and baby hasn't dropped. Book early as spots fill fast.

We provide a studio gown wardrobe. Flowing fabrics, form-fitting knits, and solid neutrals photograph beautifully.

The golden window
Days 5–12 are ideal — babies are sleepiest and most curly. We hold your spot tentatively and confirm once baby arrives.

Keep baby awake before
In the hour before your session, keep baby awake and feed them right before you leave. A full, drowsy baby is the secret to perfect poses.

Dress for comfort
Soft neutrals and whites photograph beautifully. Avoid logos or busy patterns. Comfort is key — you've just had a baby!

Trust the process
Newborn sessions are relaxed and unhurried. Crying, feeding, and diaper changes are all normal. The studio is warm and stocked with coffee for you.

What if my baby arrives early or late?

No worries at all — this is completely expected! For newborn sessions, I hold a tentative date around your due date and confirm once baby arrives. I keep a flexible schedule in those weeks specifically to accommodate early and late arrivals. Just text or email me as soon as baby is here.
My baby won't stop crying — will the photos still work?

Absolutely yes. Newborn sessions are built around baby's pace, not a clock. The studio is heated to about 80°F and I use white noise and gentle swaddling techniques. Most fussy babies settle beautifully once they're warm, full, and in a quiet environment. There's no rush and no stress — ever.
Are posed newborn photos safe?

Safety is my absolute top priority. I am trained in safe newborn posing and never force a baby into a position they resist. Any composite poses are achieved safely using multiple images edited together. Parents are always welcome to stay close and watch the entire session.
Can I bring my toddler or other children?

Yes! Siblings add so much heart to these sessions. I typically start with solo baby images, then bring everyone in for family and sibling sets. Siblings are included at no extra charge for maternity sessions, and I have toys and snacks on hand to keep little ones happy.
How far in advance should I book?

For maternity sessions, I recommend booking by week 24–28. For newborn sessions, book during your second trimester — I'll hold your spot tentatively and finalize details once baby arrives. Popular spring and fall dates fill particularly quickly.
What happens if I don't love my photos?

I'm completely committed to your happiness. Before every session, we discuss your vision and any must-have shots. In the rare event something isn't right, I will work with you to find a solution — whether that's a reshoot, additional editing, or a credit. Your satisfaction is my reputation.
